was not what candidate Obama was pushing for. He still isn't. I think he has a desire and is attempting to reform our current system.
The people on the right who think Obama is a socialist are, simply put, downright ignorant.
If you're a socialist, you're probably going to ALWAYS find it difficult to align with the Democratic Party at-large.
Personally, I would like to see the repubs go extinct, and the democratic party take the role of the "status-quo" with a little reform thrown in party. The dems would then have to go head to head with a true left/progressive party. The repubs have patently demonstrated their ignorant, greed-driven positions to the detriment of the U.S.A. They are good for no one but the rich.
