This whole thing has been yet another black eye on those who do the right thing and catch hell for it. I work at USDA so I know firsthand the corporate (and non-corporate) racism, sexism, ageism, classism, and every other ism you can think of and I've only been there a few years!

First of all, Vilsack is an embarrassment to the human race! He's only been Secretary for 18 months and done absolutely NOTHING to improve the morale of the employees,let alone give anyone any opportunity to advance in their careers. I heard from a friend of mine that Vilsack was governor in Iowa back in the 80's, and all told he didn't do much of anything. So, he brings the same mentality to one of the biggest non-DoD Federal agencies in the country and I have yet to see him do anything in the best interests for the minority farmers, who have suffered way too long because of bureaucracy.

Second, no soon as the story broke yesterday, he puts out a department-wide e-mail, in part saying that there will be zero tolerance for racism of any kind. Well, color me red when I heard about it :sarcasm: . Yes, the CYA tour has gone into full swing!

I give the NAACP some kind of credit for reversing their stand on all of this because they and the WH were duped by Faux Noise and that asswipe Breitbart and took the whole thing as gospel. How naive and how fucking stupid can anyone be??? That makes no sense but I know one thing is certain: Sherrod should sue the living shit out of them and move on with her life. As a black woman myself, my heart goes out to her because of this fiasco. No one should have to endure this torture! NO ONE!!!!

BTW, Keith will deliver a Special Comment on this tonight, so grab the popcorn, buffalo wings, and booze 'cause it's gonna be off the chain!!!!!!
