I guess you remember President Goldwater, President McGovern, and President Dukakis?

Reagan won because he won over Reagan Democrats." These are the blue collar union types who like their guns. They will not support a real lefty.

I don't like this reality, but it is what it is. Elections are decided by the who the people in the middle class burbs are most comfortable with on pocket book issues.

Great guys like Paul Wellstone, Dennis Jucinich, and Jesse Jackson, would lose 49 states.

20 percent are "Liberals" in America, 40 percent are "conservative" and 60 percent are in the middle.

Why do you think the DLC was started? People like Bill Clinton, Sam Nunn, and others got tired of seeing "Liberal Democrats" getting spanked in presidential elections. They rigged the nominating process so there would be no more Dukakis'.
