3. Morales singled out HRF yesterday in his May Day speech

He warned that any NGO's working to split the country would have to leave. Then he specifically mentioned the Human Rights Foundation by name and its director, a Bolivian named Acha.

I looked up this outfit and it set up shop in Bolivia in 2007. But not in La Paz, the seat of the government. Instead it made its headquarters in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the hotbed of resistance to Morales.

Looking at the foundation's website, our old friend Armando Valladares is the chairman of the New York-based foundation. The other names I am not familar with.

Horus after Morales spoke, the foundation in Bolivia issued a statement denying Morales' charge, and in an amazing paragraph, said Morales had no legal right to boot the foundation from Bolivia.

Oh, read on an Irish website that the Bolivian director of the foundation in Santa Cruz, , had bugged out to the United States.
