7. i made a puff quilt about 34 years ago.
you cut squares of muslin about 2 in sq. and colored cotton about 3 in sq. you took a tuck in each side of the larger ones to make them measure 2 in, too. and sewed three of the sides with a little seam. you then stuffed the puff with polyester (at that time) and took a tuck in the last side and sewed it down, too. repeat ad nauseum. then sew them together in a pattern like a normal square variation, back it with a solid color or print cotton, and tie like a tied quilt. be prepared for someone to say it looks like a bunch of tits.
