But that doesn't mean I don't like to play around with them. When I get a call from someone who sounds like he might be in India but says his name is Bob, I always ask him where he's calling from (always some place in America), and then I start asking him questions like how's the weather there, how did the local sports team do, etc. This normally frustrates him enough that I have plenty of time to look up what the weather is really like where he's supposedly calling from as well as the latest results of the sports team, etc. I've gotten a few who tried to keep up appearances, but every now and then I catch them when he claims he's from New York, and I go on about what a big White Sox fan he must be.
