....insulin pumps, pacemakers, sanitary napkins, tampons, sex change patients whose names on tickets don't agree with the (expected gender), various types of implants.

Will there be someone from Big Insurance lurking nearby, eavesdropping for reasons not to insure certain people or collecting information for blackmail for their buddies in Washington?

It's not far-fetched in the least.
