Robocalls from Republicans
Advertisements [?]
Last night, I arrived home from work and checked the answering machine. There was a message left by James Dobson regarding voting, and it gave some gibberish about "National Marriage Project". I was irate and deleted the message.

I tried calling the number from the caller ID and the message for the number indicates that the "mailbox is full". Yeah, right!

About a month ago, I got a robo call from Michelle Bachman. Tried calling THAT number back, and got the same thing. So I called her office and after several minutes of arguing with them before they realized that I was dead serious, I finally made them take a message to have my name and telephone number removed.

After working all day long with a bunch of Republicans, the LAST thing I want when I enter the sanctuary of my home, is to have Republican ideals being spouted at me from my own answering machine.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone else got any creative ideas to deter this kind of thing? (And yes, of course, I am on the Do Not Call List - which is of no value for these types of calls).
