unfortunately, the republican party didn't and doesn't have any of those.

The war on "terra" needed to be kept off the front pages - it needed to be fought clandestinely - in the back alleys of the world, well out of view of CNN and Al Jazeera television cameras. Invading countries brandishing state of the art weapons systems was ludicrous; all it did was inflame passions against us, and provided free recruitment videos for those bent on our destruction. The son is absolutely correct - Clinton understood that; Bush was clueless.

We will be paying for Bush/Cheney stupidity for decades. Families of those killed will be paying the price forever.

I'm happy to hear that Mr. Bush is having the time of his life not being our president; for those of us not slain on the battlefields of foolish wars that idiot started, the feeling is mutual.
