and the fact that both the "right" & "left" wings of the msm are obscuring & distorting the facts of this fire situation to set it up as an opposition between "compassionate" libs who insist a small town must bankrupt itself to provide public services to a larger, richer body that has repeatedly refused to contribute, & "hard-nosed" cons who chant "pay or else" while neglecting to mention there is an alternative to the fee-based system -- equitable public funding -- leaves me wondering wtf their agenda is & who they really speak for.
