Reply #7: Traditionally the barbarians

Traditionally the barbarians were the northern Europeans who were called barbarians by the Romans. Now it is clear the US in it's "right" wing neocon quest for empire is the modern day barbarian. The barbarians were just thugs that died off and joined civilization eventually. The same fate awaits us, Dems just wait for the other side, the dark barbaric side, to stop its knuckledragging. We might have a bright future, I'm an optimist in a sea of pessimists though.

Time will tell. We certainly live in interesting times.
