12. There's a gas station like that where I live
It has some obvious signs that direct traffic one way, and many people just completely ignore them. I have to admit that I have ignored them once or twice too. This causes all the cars to be facing every which way, so nobody can get out when they're done since some dumb-ass (admitedly that included me at one or two points) is facing the other way, blocking you in.

My inclination is to believe people to do whatever the hell they want since it's just easier. Fuck everybody else. That perception is particularly well suited to the current generation of Republicans: they preach personal responsibility but really mean it for other people.
