The plot thickens

The Garland County Election Commissioner resigned following a lawsuit that was filed by local voters in the county claiming Charles Tapp and the Commission didn’t follow rules for setting elections or polling sites.

They also say that voters have been turned away from the voting polls and that some have not been able to get to the polls to vote.

Ted Burhenn is one of dozens of voters who was turned away from the poll last Saturday by the Garland County Election Commissioner Charles Tapp while trying to vote early in the runoff election.

"I heard they were going to be open on Saturday so I changed my schedule for that and at the last minute they're not open on Saturday," says unhappy voter Ted Burhenn.
