I worked around this type of "businessman" most of my career as an executive secretary to CEOs and CFOs and COOs and VEEPS out the wazoo. I worked temp a lot -- in fact, most of my career, simply because I felt more in control of my life when NOT on a mega-corp's payroll (though of course I was on the temp services' payrolls -- but I played them off against each other, too).

Living in OK and TX for many years and having worked (for Bechtel) on the construction of the Trans Alaska Pipeline in '74-'75, I've had more of "oilmen's ways" than I can honestly stomach. The powerful elite make me want to puke, with their luxury living, their yachts and private jets, and their canned hunting trips!

--Oh yeah, that's a biggie for many of them; they just LOVE showing their "big game hunting" skills by shooting buffalo and bear and other unfortunate species -- some endangered, that doesn't matter to someone with enough money -- that have been drugged or otherwise rendered helpless before you arrive on the scene. Guys like you, darth, they bring out their ridiculously expensive guns and accessories and put on their idiotically inappropriate (for them) camo gear and look like the fools they are, strutting around like bantam roosters in parts of the wilderness that they wouldn't dare enter without beaucoup guides and (in darth's case) doctors, and assorted low-paid lackeys in suitable numbers!

They fly in and out of everywhere, insulated and above it all, while viewing the working poor of the world as mere peasants and pissant slaves whose welfare deserves not one moment of their time to think about.

I'll bet darth has his camo hunting outfits specially made by his fucking tailor!

When people like darth are "on the job," they have their secretive meetings in luxury locations, catered to a disgusting level of decadence, with sheiks and other former wildcatter types (in the old days), and their highest paid lawyers and technical people. They patch in the politicians they own using conference calls, with the speaker perched in the middle of a huge and highly polished boardroom/banquet table. No one at those meetings is under any illusions about what they're present to accomplish.

Later, they change the minutes of meetings to fit what they WANT people to know and believe, and they outright lie about their shady deals and underhanded hoodwinking of the population of the planet.

The hunting thing works so well as a metaphor for their attitudes, too, really. They're just that self-absorbed, and it's all theatrics to them ... theatrics that they make the most of while their ACTING is working on people, deceiving them and ripping them off in every imagineable way (and some almost unimagineable ones).


But then when, to their surprise, their cover is finally blown, their act is seen through and no longer being bought by any but the most dense or fiercely loyal, and their shady dealings and illegal actions are exposed to the light for all to see, they just spin and whirl and pretend we'll return to our blind state.

And when THAT fails -- as it always does eventually -- they know when they had best circle the wagons, stash all the illgotten gains in safe places, and prepare to stonewall until even that tactic flounders. At that point, they cease to think about making yet MORE money for awhile and focus on how to best KEEP what they got -- and their freedom.

People like darth always plan ahead and plant escape hatches and secret tunnels -- literal or metaphorical -- and stock up their "wolf's lairs" with plenty of goods and supplies as well as their booty. I doubt any of them will ever be brought to justice in full, but it would be nice to see even a handful of the worst criminals get what's coming to them!

We are aghast that darth said what he did to the troops he has fucked over for years -- indeed, probably decades, at least in the planning. And we should be aghast and appalled! So should everyone else ... and many around the world are. Even here in the "homeland," folks have wised up quite a bit.

Darth may as well spit into the wind for all the good his cheerleading is doing him. Maybe he should get the real cheerleader with collegiate bona fides in the trade to lift the bullhorn once again. Oh, but wait -- that's not working anymore either!

Sorry for the rant, but I just despise these people! I've worked for them and watched them rape the world for four decades of my life. I've seen them do things that most people just can't believe, they're so low and mean and heedless of others ... and of the very planet they live on, too! I think that's criminal insanity all right!

I know their history and their plans and plots for the future -- and how little we all matter to them in that future they see as THEIRS.

I've seen them buy off politicians right up to the highest levels, as they grew wealthy enough to hire the most highly skilled attorneys to do a lot of their dirty work for them. Some folks still think there is a limit to their greed or their selfishness, but I can testify to the fact that there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, they won't stoop to in order to pad their bank accounts and escape all consequences -- in this lifetime at least.

They get together in their Petroleum Clubs and their other secretive groups and collude with the "representatives of the people" they have in their pockets, and they know they'll be very hard to nail in an American courtroom. What scares them, if anything truly does, is any thought that they might be brought to justice by and in another country.

When I see darth in Iraq, I can't help but think wouldn't it be grand and oh-so satisfying if al Maliki would really grow a pair and have that scheming liar ARRESTED! I'm pretty certain measures have been taken any time he or any of the rest of them venture abroad, so that apprehension by law enforcement officials of any other country is impossible. But I can wish, can't I?

Time to get our game on, all right, Tricky Dick #2, but it's not in the way you mean. We need to win one for the fucking PEOPLE for a change, and that means guys like you need to get your just rewards.

Oh if only ....

Sometimes I still have hope, based on little more than fervent wishes, I know, but hope nonetheless. Sometimes I can almost SEE THEM behind bars like in the photoshopped pictures and exposed in their naked greed and wickedness to the world as in Swampy's wonderful graphics.

What I hope most of all is that we're not all dreaming to think it could happen, in one form or another. That justice CAN be done, in the end.

There IS a lot to talk about, darth, but it's not what you wish it was. It's "game over" time for you and your cohorts in crime! Game time started a long time ago, and you weren't even on the bench then. Or maybe you were, as a fetid fetus ready to stink up the world.

But you've been in the fourth quarter, struggling to get back to within shouting distance of the ones who have your game plan down and know how to counter it. You're tired and sweating like a racehorse and looking old and ill. Give it up, dick, 'cause you never HAD a big one and all you can do now is wave that limp thing around in the air as you turn to flee those you've raped and pissed on....

Sick, soulless bastards like you don't deserve respect or obedience, and I'm glad to see you've lost your power to intimidate most folks. You're history, and you'd better face that fact before you make an even bigger fool out of yourself.
