Personify the ROVs, leave out the people as active participants, other than human greed and disregard for our planet. She the ROVs heroically trying to save the environment, despite the interference and stupidity of humans. A tearful, bittersweet ending when they slow down the oil flow but realize it is too late and too little to save the planet. Under the credits show the humans leaving the poisoned planet, all life dying but one small plant that is left....and one small robot that is scavenging the garbage the humans left.
