Instead of that, we're stuck with a conciliator who seems to like nothing better than to scold his own base while pandering to the corporate right and the very groups that have been and remain the source of the nation's problems.

Whether anyone enters the primaries for 2012 depends on how low his popularity gets, whether the Dems lose their majorities in November, and wether the wars are winding down and unemployment has substantially improved.
