6. Thing is, though, the fuckers in both parties DO. NOT. CARE.
And why the fuck should they? They and their families have the best fucking health care in the country, to which they contribute VERY little every month, that still covers pretty much everything. No bullshit waiting periods. No fucking pre-existing condition exclusions. No worries about what is or is not going to be covered and whether or not having a major illness will cost them coverage in the future. No worries about financial ruin and bankruptcy because they had the gall to get sick in the richest country in the world. And it's FOR LIFE. AND IT'S PAID FOR BY US, WE THE PEOPLE, WHO DO NOT HAVE THAT SAME COVERAGE. And they're the fuckers who voted FOR the bankruptcy "reform" bill when a major cause of bankruptcy is medical bills even by those WITH good insurance and medical bankruptcy is something they will NEVER have to worry about!

So, until they have to deal with the real world in health care and until their premium plan that they get FOR FUCKING LIFE is taken away, they WILL NOT UNDERSTAND OR CARE. PERIOD.
