10. It is, but here in Red State hell I am talking again with people that haven't spoken to me
in years because of my sometimes strident arguments for bottom-up solutions to the top-down problems that have plagued us for decades.

They are right about where we are for the wrong reasons, but they are still right, and they have seen the things I told them would happen come to pass. So now we can talk again about the things we agree on (easier for me since I have no problem with people being armed) and discuss what can/should be done about it. No argument is more effective than being right time after time.

So, tomorrow I'm going to an old acquaintance's house to watch some football and catch up on the ruin that our live's have been turned into by the parasites that rule. There are a lot of fairly bright people on the other side, just as there are a lot of idiots on this one. If enough people that retain the ability to think get together, we can fix this.

OTOH, maybe I'm just being optimistic to the point of foolishness, but I'm compelled to try.
