can't mount effective and sophisticated marketing and messaging. The DLC does it extremely well all the time.
And the Obama marketing campaign was incredibly savvy, sophisticated, organized and disciplined.

We've seen it can be done, and how it's done.


It takes money, but more than that, desire and a much firmer sense of direction. The first thing we need to do is stop funding the organizations and politicians hostile to progressives and start putting it to better uses. We need to decide and begin agreeing on what those are.
