Plead to save BAMBI. Get some cute kids to stand there and talk with the media, too, along with animal rights people protesting this outrage.

Call the Governor and every local and state official you can find.


Call a zoo - maybe one will take the animal. Is there a petting zoo in your area that may want it, since the animal is tame?

Call the SPCA and the Humane Society, or PETA. I see no reason why the animal should be destroyed if it hasn't caused any harm to anyone. Is there a wildlife rescue society in your region?

I'll bet this would shame authorities into saving that deer.
