had very good reason to change the meaning and message of the bible. Who wants to hear all that talk about how difficult it is for the rich to get into heaven and how the treatment of the poor is the most important measure of a society? Certainly not the one who controls all the wealth. I'd be weary about any "translation" of the bible, but from one who has the most reason to want it changed, I'd take it with a whole pallet of salt.
