I will admit that I felt so fucking great that I had a chance to vote for a black for president, and was elated when he won. I would've voted for Kucinich but he dropped out. Being female I would NEVER have voted for Hilary. So your theory kind of falls flat there.

I was swept up in the euphoria after Obama won, but after the first few days of some executive orders, which now seem to have been just for show, nothing has really happened that makes me think he's been a great president. I find plenty to criticize him for, and justly. Had the first woman become president, a non-Hilary woman that I might have supported, I would be feeling the same way.

It's important to be able to keep your emotions at bay if you want to be able to fairly criticize someone. Sounds like you aren't there yet. I like Obama as a person. I feel he is sincere even though I think his actions are questionable and that it's very possible that he is pulling the wool over our eyes. I know he is a smart cookie and I hope he will use that to the people's benefit. He has not yet proven to me that he will.
