5. I'm not too worried about Whitman.
She's running on her Ebay experience, and that's already beginnign to fray (Ebay has had to shed a lot of her pet projects since she left, just to stay operational). Plus, the entire marketing concept that we'll have a governor who's claim to fame is selling off assets to make money hasn't even been brought to bear yet. She's a poor speaker, and she's fairly unattractive (sorry, but in todays media driven world, that DOES mean something).

I'm more worried about Campbell. Business dean, economist, and former State Finance Director. If he markets himself right, he could be a major challenger by offering himself up as someone who can help straighten out state finances. Luckily, the Thugs don't seem to be rallying behind him at this point.
