Instead of jumping in to try to mandate the vaccine, maybe Merck and the FDA should have focussed on making sure this vaccine was safe for all groups of people before dropping it into the general population.

If someone with diabetes or a blood clotting disorder is at higher risk for a serious adverse effect, wouldn't it be better if they and their doctor could take this into consideration?
