The man did bring a gun to a church but the President was speaking at a school down the road - not at the church.
It is important to be factually correct and not just "in the spirit" or "you know what I mean". If we have to spend so much time correcting our statements the underlying point will be missed. I'm actually surprised CBS did not catch this.
