way back in the 80's groups like BW recruited heavily from those SF ETS. True, they're dicks, but most of them are very well trained dicks. One I know of personally was an officer in in the Belgian army. There just wasn't enough bloodshed for him so he went to Rhodesia as a merc. He finally ended up an NCO with SF (got help with naturalization so he could) and upon ETS again became a merc, but this time with a US firm. He speaks 5 languages, heavy & light weapons, medic, demo, SERE, etc. He's an old fart now, but if he's not still jobbing he's probably helping with training. I can't consider these guys rent-a-cops.
