as for 1000 megawatt power stations, I am not an expert on that. Maybe gas, hydro or biodeisel. Maybe windfarms. maybe massive solar collectors. But if each home generated its own electricity or each community you would not need massive plants.

And as far as exposure - how in the hell do you know you got more from xrays than you did from the nuclear plant? Did you carry a dosimeter? Did you get your baseline exposure tested before and after?

I have been involved in testing exposure in bones, teeth and soft tissue with a radio-chemist. It is very difficult to tell how much you have been exposed to.

Teeth and bone must be ground up and put into a solution to be tested. Decaying Radioisotopes kick off one particle every fifteen minutes or so. In order to determine exposure you have to wait between the "sparks" and measure the time.

So don't be so sure when there is no evidence to back that up.

Ask about the cancer clusters in that community. Read the reports on your plant about leaks or groundwater seepage.
