Talking about the mob's involvement. Thom Hartmann is on the program. He and another guy (forget his name) have just written a book called "Ultimate Sacrifice" about this. Very interesting.

They talk about cutting off the head of the dog (the President) to get the tail to stop wagging (RFK's targeting of the mob).

They also talk about the CIA and the plan to get rid of Castro.

There were apparently plans to assissinate Kennedy first in Chicago, then in Tampa, which were called off. One secret service member from the time was talking about how he was told "No paper trail" regarding the plot in Chicago. He was later jailed on trumped up charges for something. Spent three years in prison. I was momentarily distracted, so I can't recall exactly why this happened to him. Probably because he questioned the cover up of the plot.
