as usual.

What if fun about things like this is that indeed Popper gets a bad rap because of that. But the argument goes all the way back to Plato and Aristotle in Western Thought. (And we thought a college level discussion was not possible on the web).

Plato through his ideology of the shadows of the world and true forms gave us one view, that leads to approximations of political economy and philosophy since we really do not know the true meaning of the forms (the Cave) and then Aristotle, who is far more hard nosed and black and white thinking.... and a favorite of Leo Strauss. No wonder Aristotle ended up taking Hemlock
