19. There is more here than meets the eye. Watch closely.
At time index 3:47, Rep. Frank says, "You have just asked me two contradictory questions." and there is audible LAUGHTER in the studio. The older man interviewing him (not the one who asked the contradictory questions) is laughing at him when he has not made a joke.

At 5:33, Frank says, "What you have collectively suggested is 'Let's do nothing at all'...," and COLLECTIVELY, the three people interviewing him have SUGGESTED exactly that.

At 5:37, we hear the same voice laugh as before. It is the older man who whines, "I am not going to let you misrepresent what I said."

From the first question, they are misrepresenting Frank's position on compensation. "How much of a role should the government play in setting *anyone's* compensation?" Frank wants the SHAREHOLDERS, not the government, to be given a larger role in setting CEO compensation and wants to change the law to permit SHAREHOLDERS (not the government) greater say.

Make no mistake. They want NO CHANGE to the STATUS QUO and the interview was antagonistic from the beginning.

Frank handled it well, IMHO. My respect for him increases from every encounter he faces like this.
