Anyone who could write this simply isn't part of the reality based community. Sorry, but how old are you? Do you not remember (or have you never heard of) Lyndon Johnson's Great Society programs like Medicare and Medicaid? Model Cities, Vista, Job Corps, Head Start, Food Stamps, Community Action Program?

Do you remember Nixon's Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, which Carter dramatically expanded as "CETA jobs"? I do, because I had one of those jobs in the mid 70s.

All of these were "New Deal" type programs, and most economists I've read say Obama's is now the biggest since the New Deal. Do you really believe there have been no "New Deal" programs since the New Deal itself? Is that your reality?

As for credentials comrade, I'd put mine against yours any day, but since you're the one demanding credentials, I suggest you go first.
