Miss CA's implants and the sick mentality of beauty pageants

I wonder if Miss CA is a veteran of those "Little Miss" pageants a la Jon Benet Ramsey.

Personally I didn't like the Countdown segment where they were bagging on her implants, it seemed bullying.

But as the mom of two teenage girls, it makes me sad that someone as beautiful as Miss CA would feel like she has to petition to have bags of chemicals implanted in her chest to "feel better about herself."

I really hate the pageant mentality and would never consider poor Miss CA a role model for my girls of anything except "don't let this happen to you!"

She's obviously a product of this pageant culture of obsessing on the physical and totally neglecting her intellectual development completely. Her answers on that Greta show were embarassing. Civil Unions? "You know what I don't know anything abou that....I just defend marriage!" Etc. etc. The transcript is unbelievable -- it's like she's taken on this anti-gay marriage crusade without ever giving a second thought to the complexities of the issue.
