Reply #22: Criticizing the president while he's out of the country?

Gee, under Dubya, that was strictly forbidden! No criticism of the commander in chief was allowed in any way, shape or form unless both the president and the critic were firmly grounded on U.S. soil. The Dixie Chicks got clobbered for a mild comment while performing in London. And anyone who said anything negative at all about the Bush administration had to hold his or her tongue if the president was off speechifying in Europe or trying to exit through the wrong door in China.

And now, here's Rush Limbaugh, bad-mouthing the president while Obama is representing our country overseas! Well, I’m sure the bulldogs at Fox News will have much to say to Mr. Limbaugh, and sternly point out the error of his ways.
