The problem is not a few bad things, it is the virtual total collapse of the testing, research, inspection and regulatory public agriculture infrastructure thanks to the right wingers.

Ban one thing here, after massive expenditures of time and money, and a hundred other dangerous things pop up over there. Ban things in this country, and the corporations go overseas and import the food grown with the banned methods, with little or no way for us to trace or regulate that.

Let's stop underestimating the problem, avoiding the real fight, playing into the right wing agenda, and using tactics and rhetoric that work against the cause.
