I'm not a mindreader and I have no idea what was going through the cartoonist's head. But I'm at least willing to concede the possibility that "the stimulus bill is such a mess that a rabid chimp could have written it" MIGHT be the correct interpretation of the cartoonist's intent, and I'm getting pissed off by the arrogance of those who have closed their minds to such a possibility whilst painting the rest of us as too racist or too ignorant to see that the chimp MUST have been intended to represent Obama and that no other interpretation is possible.
