I still think it's a ridiculous policy, but you're definitely exaggerating the hell out of this story in your OP. They were warned, they intentionally ignored the warning, got caught, got asked to leave, was defiant with that too and came back in, got caught again, then got confrontational. Wouldn't exactly call them innocent victims here...
