19. My grandson's teenaged friend was in a wreck and his mother got there
before the rescue squad. He rolled his car several times, and was pinned beneath it. Didn't die, but nearly did. How, I asked, did his mother beat the rescue squad there? Did he call and tell her where he was?

No, was the reply. She was talking to him when he had the wreck. Darwinism at work...
