80. Well not being an isolationist, I welcome their trade
After all that gives them plenty of dollars to help prop up our currency, and buy our products and services.

In fact Japan is one of my company's biggest customers - so they end up sending that money right back to the people who pay me anyway.

None of which changes the fact that the vast majority of the money stays in the US - direct costs are far and away the largest part of car manufacturing, at least for basic sedans, but alsoo in general (flashy SUVs and exotica are an exception).

Plus I get a car where the transmission won't fail at 70K( I love people preaching JD Power surveys on INITIAL quality to argue a question of reliability by the way) and, more impotantly given my tendency to trade cars in frequently, far more resale value than a comparable GM or Ford.
