Thank you both, and all others who shared an experience that demonstrates that death is not final because love is eternal and knows no boundaries.

In all likelihood we each have an experience in our lives that demonstrates this truth, though some find difficulty in accepting those little gifts, often because of some painful experiences related to religion. A belief in the connectedness of all and everything does not require religion to explain it. Science works just as well.

The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can change from one form to another, (recycled) but cannot be created or destroyed. Water into ice or humidity, leaves and bark into soil.

The energy that is You or I is not destroyed when the physical body dies. That energy, or soul, just moves on to another form, performing another service to the Universe. This knowledge inspired my belief in karma. Recycled souls makes much sense to my mind. The natural, and supernatural, world is a wonder of economics that offers fantastic information, if only we had eyes to see or ears to hear.

May your Mothers loving spirit continue to influence your insightful and thought provoking writing. You are a blessing in an insane "civilization."
