28. Some reps from the WH wanted Ashcroft to sign off on wiretapping
without having to go through the FISA Court. He had had some kind of emergency gall bladder or apendix surgery and was recouperating in the ICU. Those a** holes (AH'S)went to the ICU to get his signature and he refused, saying it was WRONG!
