2. Journalism in this country has become a serious joke
Edited on Sat Oct-25-08 01:16 PM by coincidenceor...
Once when I was a wee young lass, I naively dreamed of being a journalist on a major media outlet. I would become an investigative journalist and spread truth for the benefit of a well-intentioned public. Then one day I realized the mainstream media feeds us lies and deceptively covers up truth because they're owned by the very same filth who benefits from keeping the masses deceived and deliberately dumbed down.

The media used to stand for 'we the people' - our watchdogs. What a sad joke. With all the corruption on Capitol Hill right now, there are TONS of stories to rip apart. But instead the journalists have sacrificed their integrity by continually displaying a pony show with absolutely no substance. The mainstream media now sadly translates into a perverse global snuff film. :(
