36. It is a pitiful "debunking"
It basically makes two points - That the police chief claims that insurance companies were billed "whenever possible" and quotes a Palin spokeswoman who claims (after the fact) that Palin does not support a policy that would charge victims.

At best from this one should conclude that Palin appoints incompetent and cruel people to positions of authority and does not hold them accountable. How could she be unaware when she signed off on it and even when the newspapers were quoting her chief of police supporting the policy. Because her spokes-person says so? That's a debunking?

The ethical and practical problems with billing the victim's insurance company remain un-refuted.

Saying FactCheck.org (Dick Cheney's favorite debunking site) "debunked it" is not an argument.
