90MPH sustained winds, tornadoes for 6 hours, power out for 3 days, no water. We were just a couple of young kids with a toddler and another on the way. From the east coast, thinking we were safe 30 miles inland. Our house was brick, but every back window was shattered, the neighbors garden shed smashed into the back of the house. Thankfully we sought refuge in the baby's room on the northeast side of the house. One of the scariest nights of my life. The eeriest time was when the eye passed over us and it was calm for about 20 minutes, then the wind switched direction and howled the other way for a few hours.

Take care those of you on the Texas Coast, I would not want to be in your shoes right now!!
