Don't tell anyone...especially my other Sox fans comrades, I'm hoping this is the Cub's year (but I get a feeling they do as well). The monkey got off our back and now here's hoping the Billy Goat is off theirs as well. My late father had just returned from WWII and was let into the World Series for free. The irony was he never got to see a World Series championship in this city in his 84 years.
I'm ready for one hell of a party this fall...with Cub, Sox and Obama fans across the country.
