I know several Republicans who voted with their party in 2000 and then in 2004 and especially in 2006 voted for Democrats as they realized the mistake and wanted Bush held accountable.

Not sure if any of them will vote Democratic in 2008 as they have seen what has not been done, of course they are not pleased with McCain.
