are our own citizens.

Some belong to gangs, some belong to the KKK, some belong to the neo-nazi's, and a host of other groups that make us all look like we are compliant in this type of activity.

We have to stand up and ensure that we do what we can regardless of color, religion, sex or anything else. WE as a society, cannot allow some of the lower elements of this society hold us hostage. We can't have our freedoms taken away, we can only give them away; and one of the ways we do that is allow people to harm others w/o taking a stand. The issue is that if perpetrators of such acts are not held to account, they will spread like a cancer throughout this entire nation, and reinforce the hideous stereotyping that abounds now.
