Seriously, quit trying to pretend that everyone exploring the protocols of commenting on the lives and deaths of public figures is somehow endorsing or celebrating every over-the-top comment ever posted.

That's not the case, and you know it. Or you would know it, if you bothered to actually read any of the posts you've selected for your sour-faced sanctimony.

Yes, yes, I know... you'll protest that you've read every word of every post. But there's no evidence that that's the case. It appears, instead, that you're fighting a battle from weeks ago -- whenever it was that those jokes were made -- and don't seem to care that the people you're haranguing tonight were not even present for the scuffle that upset you so.

How ironic, that you set yourself up as an arbiter of what is and is not appropriate posting behavior. You demand reverence for the dead, yet have not a bit of tolerance for alternate points-of-view among the living. Yay, you!
