and I agree that your opinion has a right to be heard as well as any others. David's act of civil disobedience was widely covered by the press. It made the front page of our Houston Chronicle (7th largest in the country for circulation), and a point was clearly made when the president was foolish enough to utter his words about free speech as protestors were marched out in handcuffs. So I guess I feel there is a place for both types of protesting - both civil disobedience and the more socially acceptable ways of blogging, running for office, etc... But you are correct that many people will disregard it. My biggest hope is that we can get together as a party and kick the criminals out in November. Past that history will have to be the judge.
