141. First tipoff of man-made: The decimal point
Its far too human like in my opinion. The decimal mark can easily be made of thousands of symbols...coincidently an alien would pick a '.'? The 3 '.' marks at the end to signify lopping off of a larger number: human-like. Its also inefficient to write numbers like this simply because large numbers would take a massive amount of space up (an advanced race would think of this). If they were simply trying to use a universal constant to communicate "likeness" and "intelligence", wouldn't they pick the easiest way to show this? Such as....

III
-
I IIII I IIIII IIIIIIIII

or something like that arranged properly....

Further...WHY BASE 10?!? Thats a coincidence completely. Its just as plausible to use hex or binary number systems.
