Including a period of remission during the summer of 2006. She didn't choose to die or have the baby. She choose not to have an abortion and have the treatment after her child was born. And the treatment worked. It just didn't work permanently (Ovarian cancer, like Lung cancer has a high mortality rate).
I can't believe some of the responses on this thread. I am quite Liberal and yet, there's a VERY good chance I would have made the same decision as she did.
May she rest in peace. And may her family find peace as well. The BABY didn't kill her. The OVARIAN CANCER killed her. And there's a very good likelihood that the results would have been the same even if she had started her treatment a few months earlier.
